Cecchi de Rossi created a new opportunity for all the people interested in discovering the brand and the production process. From today, you can visit our atelier to experience how a bag is born. The designer and creative director, Tommaso, will lead a natural dyeing workshop, using wine as a mordant. It all happened by accident actually! He studied agronomy in preparation for taking over the family vineyard. During the harvest, he accidentally spilt wine on leather and was fascinated by the colour it produced. He experimented a lot and honed his skills before patenting the method that is at the base of Cecchi de Rossi creations. The participants will not only be able to observe the handmaking assemblage but will also take part in the creation process. From cutting leather to natural dyeing, stitching and assembling you'll be able to experience the full circle.
Sharing the culture and lifestyle of Tuscany.
The experience will take place in one of the most beautiful areas of the Tuscan countryside, exactly where the brand was founded in 2010. Accompanied by a wine tasting and typical food, our experiences are tailored for small groups, up to six guests, as the workshops require close guidance to fully appreciate the craftsmanship of the production process.
